DRAFT-Wildial — Terms of Use (Sign-up) Effective date: [DD Month YYYY] Provider: [Wildial Ltd], [registered address], UK Contact: hello@wildial.com 1) What Wildial is Wildial is a wellbeing journaling and reflection app. We use AI to suggest emotion wheels, generate short summaries, and surface trends. Wildial does not provide medical or mental-health advice. 2) Your agreement By creating an account or tapping “I agree”, you enter a contract with us to provide the Service described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. 3) Eligibility You must be 16+ to use Wildial. If you are 13–15, you may only use Wildial with verifiable parental/guardian consent (not currently supported). 4) Your content & licence You keep ownership of the content you add (journal text, ratings, photos). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service. We will only use your quotes/images in marketing or partner materials with your separate opt-in. 5) AI processing (core to the Service) Wildial is an AI-assisted app. When you use AI features we securely send only the data you choose to enter in record forms/journals (plus your current wheel values) to our AI provider to generate suggestions/summaries. Data may be temporarily stored by the AI vendor for operational reasons, but is not used to train their models. You can edit AI outputs before saving, or delete them later. We do not send your profile name, email, or GPS with AI prompts, and we advise you not to include personally identifying details in entries. Outputs may be inaccurate; use your own judgment. 6) Data protection & security (summary) We act as controller of your personal data. We use Google Firebase (EU regions) as our primary processor for hosting, databases, authentication, and security. See our Privacy Policy for lawful bases, processors, retention, international transfers (SCCs/UK Addendum), and your rights (access, deletion, objection, portability). Contact: privacy@wildial.com . 7) Acceptable use Don’t upload illegal, infringing, or abusive content; don’t attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; don’t violate others’ privacy. We may suspend or remove content to protect users or comply with law. 8) Subscriptions & trials (if applicable) We may offer free trials and paid plans. Prices and billing periods are shown in-app. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel in the app or via your app-store account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. 9) Availability & changes We’ll use reasonable efforts to keep Wildial available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change or be discontinued. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app. If you continue using the Service after changes take effect, you accept the new Terms. 10) Third-party services The Service integrates processors and providers (e.g., Firebase/Google Cloud; AI vendor; hosting/CDN). Their terms and privacy notices may apply to your use of integrated features. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services we don’t control. 11) Liability Wildial is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability for the Service to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (this cap does not limit liability we cannot exclude by law, such as for fraud). We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence. 12) Termination You can stop using Wildial and delete your account at any time (see the app or email support). We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law. On termination, your licence ends and we’ll handle your data per our Privacy Policy. 13) Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction (consumers also benefit from mandatory rights under the law of their residence)....
